Bad token name(s) - expect format like image1.png (or valid file-extension)

Hi guys, despite my zip uploading for a series and the preview and metadata rendering I get this error message that prevents me from deploying.

  • bad token name(s) - expect format like image1.png (or valid file-extension)
  • zip file has token media with bad filename: image1.png
  • zip file has token media with bad filename: image2.png
  • zip file has token media with bad filename: image3.png
  • zip file has token media with bad filename: image4.png
  • zip file has token media with bad filename: image5.png
  • zip file has token media with bad filename: image6.png
  • zip file has token media with bad filename: image7.png
  • zip file has token media with bad filename: image8.png

As you can see the naming is fine. I’ve tried various workarounds but no luck, could you help me resolve please? I can send over my zip if it helps.
Thanks in advance!

Hi lbescotti,

The validation logic expects your image files to be inside an images folder at the root of the zip.

If you still having errors you can send the zip file so I can take a look.

Thanks Lucas, I realize the issue was I had tried previously with an images folder but it had a space at the end of the nomenclature which threw things off.
Much appreciated!
